Hot Sauce most clutch uses
Y’all ever really needed a little something to make your meal less crappy? Maybe it just needs a little heat? Perhaps its leftovers and you need to get your taste buds popping. Recently, certain hot sauces have saved my entire day.
Breakfast Burritos/Eggs - Cholula Hot Sauce is the front runner here… this is madnatory for breakfast burritos, breakfast sandwiches and super dry leftovers . I prefer it over Tapatio personally, but those are the top two for the breakfast egg category.
Hot & Spicy Sauce on Fried Rice - specifically at teppanyaki. In Fresno, CA where I am writing out of - teppanyaki is a huge treat, a delicious staple, a date night scenario, a pre-high school dance location, a great giant meal. We don’t have benihana out here, so the competition is like blood sport. One of the biggest determining factors that separates each restaurant on the list : How good is that fried rice? Without the Hot & Spicy Sauce … it is nothing.
Cayucos Hot in genreal- Cayucos hot sauce is specifcally out of Cayucos, CA … so local but damn I’d put it up against a lot of the top names. The texture is almost like Ketchup, but the flavor is amazing. I put it on literally everything that might need a squirt of hot sauce.
Buffalo Sauce/Wing Sauce/ Franks - these are essentials on various forms of chicken.
Hot Take: Tabasco isn’t very good.
